How it works

Four clear steps from first message to a live website. Our automated assistant does the legwork so you can reply when it suits you, whatever business you run, and Chris personally reviews and approves every quote, preview and message.

The four steps

  1. Step 1 · In your own time

    Chat with our online assistant or email us ([email protected]) in your own time

    Our automated assistant collects what your business needs — your type of business, the pages or products you want, photos and your preferences — without pulling you away from your customers or your work. Reply whenever suits you. If you still want to speak to someone on the phone afterwards, you can call Chris on 07908 253479 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).

  2. Step 2 · Reviewed by Chris

    Written quote & 50% build deposit

    You receive a clear written quote and order form showing the build fee and monthly care plan, reviewed and approved personally by Chris. A 50% build deposit starts the work. Nothing is charged until you agree in writing.

  3. Step 3 · 5 to 7 working days

    Private preview in 5 to 7 working days

    Your site is built on a private preview link marked noindex, so search engines ignore it. Test it on your phone and request tweaks before anything goes public.

  4. Step 4 · 2 to 3 weeks total

    Go-live in 2 to 3 weeks total (typically 2 to 3 working days after preview sign-off) & monthly Care Plan

    On preview sign-off you pay the final 50% build balance (by Tide invoice payment link — card, Apple Pay, Google Pay — or bank transfer) and set up your GoCardless Direct Debit mandate; then we set up your DNS and the site goes live on your domain. Your monthly Care Plan is collected by GoCardless Direct Debit on the 1st of the month, with a 6-month minimum term then 30 days’ rolling notice. Updates and changes are handled by email or chat first.

    Or choose Build & Go: instead of a Care Plan, pick our flat Build & Go handover (£445 / £895 / £1,755 one-off) with £0/month Cloudflare hosting and a simple login editor from day one.

Domain ownership & leaving

Your domain name is always yours. You can choose a monthly Care Plan (6-month minimum term, then 30 days’ notice) or our flat Build & Go handover (£445 / £895 / £1,755 one-off), transferred to your own free Cloudflare account with £0/month hosting and a simple login editor from day one. Care plans have a 6-month minimum term, then 30 days’ rolling notice. If you leave, we hand over the full HTML, CSS and image files of your website within 14 days, at no extra charge.

Your data: when we host or look after your website, you remain the data controller for enquiries sent by your customers, and I-OSCC Ltd acts as your data processor under our written Data Processing Agreement (Article 28 UK GDPR). See our Privacy notice and Client terms for details.
